Greg Oden is looking for a fresh start this 2015/16 season as he heads overseas to play in China for Jiangsu Nangang Dragons Nanjing (CBA). The deal is reportedly good for one year and is worth $1.2 million. There were high expectations for him when the Portland Trail Blazers selected him first overall in the 2007 NBA Draft. Several knee injuries saw him sidelined for most of his first three seasons in the league. He last saw action in the NBA in 2013/14 when he tried to make a comeback with the Miami Heat. Oden played 26 games and averaged 2.3 ppg and 2.1 rpg. He is still only 27 years old and reportedly in good shape. This will be an opportunity for Oden, who has been hounded by domestic abuse allegations recently, to get back on track and play pro hoops once again.
