Green returns to Lukoil Academic

Perennial Bulgarian League champion Lukoil Academic improved its team for the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Qualifying Round by inking small forward Devin Green to a one-year deal on Monday. Green (2.01 meters, 29 years old) started the 2011-12 with New York of the NBA before joining Erie Bay Hawks, where he averaged 14.9 points and 5 rebounds in 11 NBA Development League games. He finished the 2011-12 season with another D-League team, Idaho Stampede. Green already played for Lukoil in the 2010-11 season, averaging 13.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.7 steals in 22 Bulgarian League games. He helped Lukoil to win the Bulgarian League and the Bulgarian Cup titles. Green has also played for Shanghai Dongfang Sharks and Changan Group Guangdong in China, Gallitos de Isabela in Puerto Rico, Gymnastikos Olympia Larissas in Greece, Dnipro Dnepropetrovsk in Ukraine, Oostende in Belgium, Siviglia Wear Teramo in Italy, Los Angeles D-Fenders in the D-League, RheinEnergie Koeln in Germany, Los Angeles Lakers, San Antonio Spurs and Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA. He helped RheinEnergie to win the German Cup title in 2007.
