Goran Jagodnik signs with Hopsi Polzela

Goran JagodnikGoran Jagodnik (203 cm) has signed on with Hopsi Polzela (Slovenia-Telemach League) for the rest of the season. Jagodnik played the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons with Union Olimpija Ljubljana (Slovenia-Telemach League). He was off part of last season due to an injury and played 28 games in the Adriatic League in 2010-11, averaging 11.6 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. In 16 Euroleague games he contributed 10.4 points per game and in the Telemach League he saw the court in 21 contests, averaging 9.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. He was named the Euroleague October MVP in 2010. Jagodnik started playing professionally in 1991 with Koper (Slovenia-A1) and has played in Turkey, Switzerland, Russia, Poland, Serbia, and the Czech Republic). He’s also been a member of the Slovenian U22 National Team (1996), the Slovenian Senior National Team (1995-2001, 2007-11).
