Giessen 46ers fire Ingo Freyer after 0-6 start

The winless Giessen 46ers have parted ways with head coach Ingo Freyer after an 0-6 start this season.

The German Basketball Bundesliga team named Rolf Scholz its interim head coach. An announcement was made on Wednesday.

Freyer, 49, led the team from 2017 until being dismissed this week.

FC Bayern Munich (6-0) leads the 18-team Basketball Bundesliga.
