Gian Clavell signs with Avtodor

Puerto Rican player Gian Clavell (193 cm, G) has signed with the Russian team Avtodor Saratov.

Clavell left a powerful impression last season in the Turkish league, where he averaged 18.7 ppg for Bursaspor Durmazlar. In college, Gian Clavell was the top scorer for Colorado State University, where he averaged 20.4 ppg and was the All-MWC Player of the year.

Between graduation in 2017 and last season, Clavell desperately tried to make it to the NBA. Despite several summer leagues, the G League, and even a few games for the Dallas Mavericks, he didn’t succeed.
