Garrett Williamson joins London Lightning

Garrett Williamson (196 cm, St. Joseph’s’10) is taking his game to Canada after penning a deal with the London Lightning (Canada-NBL). He will get a fresh start after being cut by AEK Athens (Greece-A1) close to the end of the 2014/15 season. Garrett was not performing to the level that the team had expected. During his 17-game run with the Greek club, Williamson registered averages of 3.2 ppg and 1.0 rpg. He now hits free agency and will be looking for a new team to call home.

He fared better in the 2013/14 season when he played in the Canadian NBL for the London Lightning. In 51 games he was able to post solid averages of 18.1 ppg and 4.7 rpg.
