Garret Siler waived by Leones de Ponce

Former Phoenix Sun Garret Siler (213 cm, Augusta State’09) has been waived by Leones de Ponce from Puerto Rico’s BSN. Siler joined Ponce in March this 2013. He played 14 games for them and averaged 14.2 ppg and 8.6 rpg. It is said that he is being replaced by Mike Harris (198 cm, Rice’05). Siler will  now hit free agency and will look to possibly continue his career in the Americas or Europe.

Siler, who left the Phoenix Suns in January 2012 played 32 games for the Jiangsu Nangang Dragons Nanjing from China’s CBA. There he logged averages of 18.3 ppg and 11.2 rpg and an impressive 2.3 bpg as well.
