Gal Mekel (190 cm, Wichita State’08) is a recent addition to the roster of Zenit St. Petersburg (Russia-VTB) for the 2018-19 season. Mekel is a 30-year-old Israeli international basketball player who has been a member of the Israeli national team since 2009. He has already made his debut for Zenit and was already able to make an impact for his team with a double-double performance, recording 12 points and 10 assists in their loss to Partizan in the 7Days EuroCup.
