Frank Robinson released by Asseco Prokom

Frank Robinson (193 cm, Cal State-Fullerton’08) has been released from his contract with Asseco Prokom (Poland-TBL) according to the club’s website. Robinson was averaging 7.4 points per game over seven Euroleague games and 5.3 points per game over eight Poland TBL games. Last season Robinson started playing for Sokhumi Tbilisi (Georgia-Superleague) and averaged 16.5 points per game over two games, then went to BC Habikaa (Israel-Winner League). He suited up for 21 Winner League contests for Habikaa and averaged 12.6 points per game. Robinson has had some interest from NBA squads, having played for Atlanta in the summer league, but never making their roster. He’s also put in a season in the D-League with the LA D-Fenders, averaging 12.4 points and 3.7 assists per game on 25 games during the 2009-10 season.
