FIBA Americas Championship set for 2013

FIBA Americas has announced the 2013 FIBA Americas Championship will be held from the 20th of August to the 1st of September of 2013 in Caracas, Venezuela. The championship will help select the four teams to move on to the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup in Spain.

The ten countries that will play are Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Jamaica, Panama, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela.

The United States is already set for the 2014 World Cup after their victory in London.
