Facundo Campazzo joins Real Madrid

Popular Spanish club Real Madrid (Spain-Liga Endesa) has signed Argentinian player Facundo Campazzo (179 cm) for the 2014-15 season. This will be the 23-year-old guard’s first foray outside of Argentina. He has spent his entire pro career playing for Penarol Mar del Plata (Argentina-LigaA). In 2013-14 he displayed very good potential as he represented his club in two leagues. He played three games in the Liga Sudamericana and averaged 22.0 ppg and 5.7 apg. He also played 51 games for Penarol in the Argentinian Liga A and there he was able to produce averages of 16.3 ppg and 5.9 apg.
