Evan Ravenel switches to Liege Basket

Evan Ravenel Evan Ravenel (203 cm, Ohio State’13) has agreed to terms on a deal to play for betFirst Liege Basket (Belgium-Euromillions League) this 2016-17. Evan originally signed with Maccabi Hunter Haifa (Israel-Winner League) to start the season, but will instead head to Belgium to continue his career. Ravenel spent his 2015-16 season playing in Japan for the Ryukyu Golden Kings Okinawa (Japan-BJ League). He played a total of 57 games for his former club and was able to deliver admirable averages. He notched a double-double clip with 16.7 ppg and 10.5 rpg. It was a solid year for him and his club. They plowed through the regular season and finished it off atop the standings. The Golden Kings then followed through in the Playofffs and captured the 2016 BJ League crown as well.
