Evaldas Zabas added by Brampton A’s

Evaldas Zabas (188 cm) has been added by the Brampton A’s from Canada’s NBL this 2013-14. He’s the first import added by the team for the upcoming season thus far. The 25-year-old Lithuanian spent the 2012-13 season playing in the Czech Republic for BK JIP Pardubice. In 39 games Zabas averaged 15.1 ppg and 2.9 apg. He led his team to the Czech Republic League semifinals and to the finals of the Czech Republic Cup in 2013. Evaldas was also selected to play in the Czech Republic NBL All-Star game that same year.

He spent the 2011-12 season playing in Sweden’s Basketligan where he suited up for KFUM Jamtland Basket and averaged 21.9 ppg and 4.6 apg.
