Euroleague 2014/2015 teams decided

Euroleague ALBA Berlin WildcardThe wildcard entries for the 2014/2015 Euroleague have been confirmed and the full roster of clubs gaining direct entry has been locked. The Euroleague Executive Committee met in Barcelona today and the board concluded on the teams to participate in the competition next season in the qualifying round and beyond.

German BBL finalists ALBA Berlin enters the competition directly alongside compatriots Bayern Munich thanks to a wild card. Joining ALBA in the competition are Italian outfit Dinamo Sassari and Serbian giant Red Star Belgrade.
Other applicants had included ASVEL Lyon of France, Unics Kazan of Russian, and Hapoel Jerusalem of Israel.

Those teams will now enter the qualifying round as wildcards alongside Czech NBL winners Nymburk, Bulgarian champs Levski Sofia, French team Strasbourg, Belgian title holders Oostend, and Polish outfit Stelmet Gora.
