FIBA Asia Cup: Day 3 Results

Day 3 of the FIBA Asia Cup was a contrast in the standings sheets as Group A didn’t change and Group B changed from top-to-bottom. The Philippines and Lebanon are tied on top of Group A, but China and Uzbekistan have each had their rest-day and are a game behind. All three teams have lost to another of the three, so if any of them end up tied, they’ll revert to tie-breaker. Lebanon have a game against Uzbekistan on Tuesday after Monday’s rest day, while China play back to back against Uzbekistan on Monday and Macau the following day. (ed. note – Philippines has just beaten Macau 98-46 as this story is being posted).

Group B has Iran and the hosts, Japan, tied at 2-0 after yesterday’s competition.
