Esteban Batista (208 cm) is heading to Umana Venezia (Italy-Serie A). He is making the move from North Control Beijing (China-CBA) where he averaged 17.7 ppg, 12.7rpg, and 2.6apg in 36 games. Before playing in China, Batista played in the Italian Serie A with EA7 Armani in the 2015/2016 season. This was his first season playing in the Italian league as he came off the bench for Armani. He averaged 9.8 ppg and 6.4 rpg while playing 17.6 mpg in 25 games with Armani. Prior to moving to Italy last season, the 33-year-old veteran played with North Control Beijing for the first time. The big man has tons of experience playing professionally as he played in Greece, Turkey, Spain, Argentina, Israel, Chile, Russia and Uraguay in his long career. Now he will head to a Venezia team that is looking to make a championship run this season. Currently, they are in third place in the Italian Serie A with a 12-7 record.
