Eric Williams pens deal with Cantu

Italian Serie A team Pallacanestro Cantu is bolstering its roster this 2014-15 with the addition of veteran big man Eric Williams (206 cm, Wake Forest’06). The German-born 30-year-old Williams played the 2013-14 season for Limoges CSP Elite (France-ProA). He logged just a dozen games for the club throughout the whole season. Eric joined the club in November 2013, but was hampered with some injuries. He saw minimal usage by the team, getting just 10.6 mpg allotment during his brief run. Williams ended up averaging 3.1 ppg and 2.5 rpg.

He headed to Limoges after playing nine games in China’s NBL for Guangzhou Liu Sui, where he averaged 14.8 ppg and 7.4 rpg.
