Eric Dawson heads to Iran

Eric Dawson (206 cm, Midwestern State’07) the former San Antonio Spurs forward has signed a deal to play with Petrochimi Imam Harbor in the Iranian Superleague. Dawson has been playing in the Philippines PBA since January where he has played with the Meralco Bolts over 17 games. With Meralco the American averages 29.6ppg, 5.2rpg, and 2.8apg.

Last season the 28-year old played four games with the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA and averaged 3.8ppg and 2.5rpg from limited minutes on the court before departing the franchise. Eric Dawson will now compete with Petrochimi Imam Harbor in the West Asia Basketball League (WABL) during May.
