Eric Chatfield added by Cholet

French ProA team Cholet Basket has acquired Eric Chatfield (191 cm, New Mexico’02) for the 2013-14 season. Chatfield was with Lebanon’s Al Moutahed before moving to France. He joined Al Moutahed in 2012-13. Eric had a very productive run with the Lebanese team, averaging 17.5 ppg and 6.3 apg in 35 games, making him one of the better imports in that league.

He moved to Lebanon after a short stint Italy’s SerieA. Eric was with JuveCaserta and averaged 9.2 ppg and 1.3 apg in half a dozen games.

Chatfield is no stranger to the French ProA. He played a season and a half for Paris-Levallois. In 2011-12 he averaged 19.6 ppg and 4.2 apg for them. His strong play got him invited as a participant in the French ProA All-Star Game in 2012.
