Elton Brown leaves Red Star

American center Elton Brown (206 cm, Virginia’05) has parted ways with Red Star Belgrade (Serbia, A-League, Adriatic League, and Eurocup) after reaching agreement with the club. Red Star has been unhappy with the performances offered by the 29-yeard old who has played a total of 40 games for the team this season.

Brown featured in 10 Eurocup games with Belgrade and notched up averages of 10.3ppg, 2.6rpg, and 0.1bpg. The player also participated in 23 Adriatic League games and averaged 8.0ppg, 1.4rpg, and 0.2bpg but his form in both competitions has not been good enough for the Belgrade hierarchy.

Elton Brown has plenty of experience and has been on the roster of the New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, and the Chicago Bulls of the NBA.
