Edgar Sosa waived by Sassari

Banco di Sardegna Sassari of the Italian Serie A has let go of Dominican Republic player Edgar Sosa (190 cm, Louisville’10) this 2015. The winner of the 2015 Italian Cup and Italian Supercup was able to utilize Sosa in a total of three leagues this 2014/15 season. Sosa played 10 games for them in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague and posted averages of 10.4 ppg and 4.2 apg. He also appeared in five games during their run in the Eurocup and there he averaged 6.0 ppg and 3.2 apg. Edgar was able to play 19 games in the domestic Italian league and there he produced averages of 12.2 ppg and 2.9 apg.
