Earl Barron joins Moutahed

Former NBA big man Earl Barron (212 cm, Memphis’03) will continue his professional career in Lebanon as he signs to play for Al Moutahed Tripoli this 2013-14. Barron began the season with the Qindao Double Star Eagles (China-CBA), but left the team almost immediately in November 2013.

2012-13 was Barron’s last season in the NBA. He started off with the Washington Wizards where he managed to play 11 games and averaged 2.5 ppg and 3.9 rpg. He was released by the team in December 2012. In April 2013 he was picked up by the New York Knicks, but he only played one game and tallied 11 points and 18 rebounds.
