Dwayne Jones joins Leones de Santo Domingo

The Leones de Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic-LNB) have landed the services of veteran big man Dwayne Jones (211 cm, St. Joseph’s’05) this 2015. Jones is moving there from Gauqeries de Margarita (Venezuela-LPB), where he’s spent the last two years. He played 42 games for his former club this 2015 and was able to produce averages of 13.0 ppg and 15.2 rpg. His double-double averages landed him a spot in the Venezuelan LPB All-Star game in 2015. After leaving the NBA in the 2013/14 season, Dwayne then headed to Qatar after a brief stop in the D-League. He eventually landed with Al Jaysh Army SC Doha (Qatar-D1). In 15 games he posted averages of 12.8 ppg and 14.9 rpg.
