Union Neuchatel Basket (Switzerland-LNA) has locked in rookie Durand Johnson (198 cm, St. John’s’16) for the remainder of the 2016-17 season. The Swiss club initially tested Johnson earlier in the season. In his brief, 5-game stint, the 22-year-old St. John’s alum recorded averages of 16.4 ppg and 5.0 rpg. Neuchatel reached the Swiss Supercup finals this 2017.
In Durand’s senior year at St. John’s (2015-16) he posted averages of 12.0 ppg and 3.8 rpg in 32 games.
