Drake Reed extends with Souffel

Drake Reed (196 cm, Austin Peay State’09) has agreed a two week contract extension with Souffel in the French ProB after he has impressed since joining the team. The American joined Souffel in January and has put in consistent displays over his four games for the club by averaging 15.3 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. The guard/forward joined with the French outfit after completing a stint in Libya playing for Al Nasr Benghazi (D1).

Drake Reed is familiar with French Basketball and the ProB after he played for ALM Evreux Basket. He played 34 games for the team during the 2012/2013 season and impressed with solid averages of 14.6 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. The 28-year old has also played for Oberwart Gunners and Ballarat Miners (Austria, A. Bundesliga).
