Drake Diener landed by Reggio Emila

Italian Serie A veteran, 32-year-old Drake Diener (196 cm, De Paul’05) was originally expected to make his return to EA7 Emporio Armani Milano this 2014-15. A twist of fate has Drake headed to Grissin Bon Reggio Emila instead, signing for a two-year deal. Diener has just completed a three-season stint with Banco di Sardegna Sassari (Italy-SerieA). In 2013-14 the sharpshooter did well for his club, representing them in two leagues. In the Eurocup he averaged 16.6 ppg and 3.3 rpg through 17 games. Drake played 39 games in the Serie A and there he posted averages of 18.9 ppg and 4.3 rpg. He helped his team win the Italian Cup and was named the league’s regular season MVP in 2014.
