Dragan Milosavljevic inks with Unicaja Malaga

Dragan Milosavljevic

Dragan Milosavljevic (198 cm) has agreed to team-up next season with Unicaja Malaga (Spain-Liga Endesa). Milosavljevic has yet to see action in Spain over his ten-year career. The majority of his playing days came in his home country of Serbia. He then ventured out to Germany in 2015 when he signed with ALBA Berlin (Germany-BBL). The swingman stayed with the organization for two seasons, including last year. Milosavljevic was a key piece for the German team. He played 28.5 mpg in the BBL last season and scored 12.6 ppg while dishing 3.9 apg. His three-point shot was a major strength for him as he averaged 41.9 percent from beyond the arch.

His career now turns to Malaga where he’ll be expected to continue shooting well from three. The team is coming off a solid 2016/2017 campaign, finishing fourth in the Liga Endesa with a 22-10 record. Their postseason ended with a sweep in the semifinals to Real Madrid (Spain-Liga Endesa). Even though they didn’t win a championship, going that far in this league is a definite positive going forward. Adding Milosavljevic should keep Malaga playing well and near the top of the standings.
