Donte Greene heads to China

Donte Greene (206 cm, Syracuse’08) will be continuing his professional basketball career in China after signing a deal to play for the DongGuan New Century Leopards (CBA) for the 2013-14 season. The German-born American player started the 2013-14 season under contract with the Memphis Grizzlies, but was traded to the Boston Celtics during the pre-season. He was then waived by Boston this September 2013. He’s played for several NBA teams and in Puerto Rico during his career. He was first drafted in the NBA by the Grizzlies in first round, 28th, in the 2008 NBA Draft.
