Dontaye Draper back with Real Madrid

Dontaye Draper (180 cm, Charleston’07) is set to make his return to Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid (Spain-Liga Endesa) for the 2016-17 season. He previously played for them from 2012 to 2014. Draper is a 31-year-old American player who also holds a Croatian passport and has been a member of the Croatian national team since 2011. His 2015-16 season saw him suiting up for Lokomotiv Kuban (Russia-VTB). Dontaye played 30 games for them in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague and averaged 6.5 ppg and 2.1 apg. He also appeared in 29 games in the VTB United League and there he produced averages of 7.4 ppg and 2.6 apg.
