Dontay Thomas joins La Bruixa d’Or

La Bruixa d’Or Manresa of Spain’s Liga Endesa has added Dontay Thomas (187 cm, La Salle’06) to their roster for 2015/16. Dontay is a 31-year-old American player who also holds a Hungarian passport and was also a recently added member to the Hungarian national team in 2014. He spent the last four seasons of his pro career playing in Hungary’s A Division. In 2014/15 he suited up for Sopron KC (Hungary-A Division) and in 42 games was able to post averages of 14.1 ppg and 4.2 apg. This upcoming stint for the franchise from Manresa will be his first time to play for a Spanish club.
