Dolomiti Energia Trento (Italy-Serie A) has opted to re-sign veteran Dominique Sutton (198 cm, NC Central’12), keeping him on their roster for the 2017-18 season. He had a busy 2016-17 season, seeing action for three different teams in three different countries. Sutton started off the season playing for Ratipharm Ulm (Germany-BBL). He played four games for them in the EuroCup and averaged 7.8 ppg and 2.5 rpg. In eight German League games, Sutton posted averages of 7.4 ppg and 4.5 rpg. In November 2016 he then headed to France where he signed with Sluc Nancy Basket Pro (France-Pro A). Dom appeared in six games for Nancy, averaging 10.3 ppg and 6.2 rpg. In January 2017 a new year brought a new start for Sutton, this time he inked with Dolomiti Trento, where he ended the season. He wound up playing 28 games for them and posting averages of 13.3 ppg and 6.0 rpg.
