Dionte Christmas pens with Hapoel Holon

Dionte Christmas (196 cm, Temple’09) will continue his professional career with Hapoel Holon (Israel-Winner League) this 2015-16. Christmas began the season with the Cleveland Cavaliers but was released by the team in October. He’s been flirting with several opportunities to play in the NBA, but unfortunately has not been able to secure anything long term.

In 2014-15 he started off with the Phoenix Suns. He was released in July, then was able to sign with the New Orleans Pelicans. He was also released in October. A month later Dionte landed a deal to play in France for Paris-Levallois (France-Pro A). He played 14 Eurocup games for them and averaged 6.3 ppg and 2.1 rpg. He appeared in 27 games in the French league and posted averages of 10.5 ppg and 2.4 rpg.
