Devin Sweetney (198 cm, St. Francis’10) is set to make his return to Belgium’s Scooore league this 2016-17 after agreeing to terms with Betfirst Liege Basket (Belgium-Scooore League). After his release from the Denver Nuggets at the start of 2015-16, Sweetney signed with Halcones Rojos de Veracruz (Mexico-LNBP) in December 2015. Devin played 22 games for them and averaged 17.6 ppg and 5.5 rpg. In Ferbruary 2016 the forward took his game to Europe and inked a deal with Proximus Spirou Charleroi (Belgium-Scooore League). He played just one game for the Belgian club where he scored eight points and grabbed one rebound. Devin left the team shortly after joining them.
