Derwin Kitchen added by Trabzonspor

Derwin Kitchen (194 cm, Florida State’11) will continue his professional career with Trabzonspor Basketbol (Turkey-BSL) this 2015. Derwin was originally set to play for Openjobmetis Varese (Italy-Serie A), but instead wound up on the roster of Sluc Nancy Basket Pro (France-Pro A). He played five games for them in the Eurocup and averaged 11.4 ppg and 4.6 rpg. He also played seven games in the domestic French Pro A league and there he notched averages of 10.0 ppg and 6.1 apg. Kitchen will be a big boon to the back court of Trabzonspor moving forward and he should be able to make significant contributions given ample opportunities.
