Derrick Zimmerman joins Energa Czarni

Derrick Zimmerman (191 cm, Mississippi State’03) is on his way to play in Poland’s TBL after being picked up by Energa Czarni Slupsk for the 2013-14 season. This will be Derrick’s first team this season.

Zimmerman spent part of the 2012-13 season playing in Ukraine’s Superleague for SK Dnipro Dniprodzerzhynsk. He played 30 games for them and notched averages of 9.2 ppg and 5.8 apg. He left the club in February 2013 and later signed with German Bundesliga team Neckar RIESEN Ludwigsburg. Zimmerman was able to play 10 games for the German club and averaged 8.7 ppg and 4.2 apg.
