Derrick Walton Jr. newcomer at ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne

Derrick Walton Jr. (185 cm, G) has signed on with ASVEL in the EuroLeague. The 25-year old American guard will join the French side as soon as possible. He will join coach Terence Parker and a team that is currently ranked 14th in EuroLeague play. ASVEL is sitting in 5th place in the French ProA standings with a 4-2 record.

Derrick Walton Jr. finished his collegiate career with averages of 15.5 ppg and 5 assists at Michigan.

Walton brings experience to France. He has played professionally in Germany (ALBA Berlin), Lithuania (Zalgiris), and in the NBA (Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, and LA Clippers).
