Derrick Allen deals with Rasta Vechta

Derrick Allen (203 cm, Mississippi’03) has linked up with German second division club SC Rasta Vechta for the 2015/2016 season. The American is a seasoned player in the German Basketball set up and has played multiple seasons in the country since turning professional from Mississippi in 2003. Over the years Derrick Allen has played for Bremerhaven, ALBA Berlin, Skyliners Frankfurt, Leverkusen, and Karlsruhe in Germany.

During the 2015/2015 season the forward featured for Loewen Braunschweig and played 34 games for the club with averages of 10.1 points and 4.3 rebounds per games.

As well as playing in Germany, Allen has enjoyed stints in Belgium (Spirou) and Iceland (Keflavikur). The player turns 35-year old today.
