Deron Washington (201 cm, Virginia Tech’08) is the new swingman for Giorgio Tesi Group Pistoia (Italy, Lega Due Gold). The American will join the club for the 2013/2014 season after recently completing a year with Israeli Winner League team GreenTops Netanya where he posted solid averages. Over 31 games he logged numbers of 13.1 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists, while Washington was also the best stealer in the Winner League with 2.5 steals per game.

Deron Washington has skirted around the NBA throughout his career, but he has spent most of his time in Europe where he has played in the Spanish ACB, as well as Israel and now Italy.
