Derick Nelson headed to Al Ansar

Derick Nelson (196 cm, Oakland’10) has agreed to terms with Al Ansar Medina from Saudi Arabia’s Premier League this 2014. Nelson is actually making the move from another Premier league team, Al Fath Al Hasa. In 2012-13 he signed a deal to play for Uhud Medina (Saudi Arabia-Premier League).

He played for Lansing Capitals (US-IBA), the year prior to that he suited up for Lapuan Korikobrat (Finland-1st Division) and was stellar averaging 23.7 points and 11.9 rebounds per contest. He had started the season with Kouvot Kouvola (Finland-Korsiliiga), but only finished three games before being moved to Lapuan Korikobrat.
