Derek Raivio cut by Nancy

SLUC Nancy Basket Pro (France-Pro A) has parted ways with American import Derek Raivio (190 cm, Gonzaga’07) this 2015. The player managed to appear in just five games for the club, before the team opted to go in a different direction. In his lone Eurocup game Derek scored five points and handed out four assists in 16 minutes on the hardwood floor. He logged four games in the domestic French league and there he was able to produce averages of 10.3 ppg and 5.0 apg.

In 2014-15 Raivio suited up for Czech powerhouse CEZ Nymburk (Czech Republic-NBL). He played 14 Eurocup games and averaged 6.2 ppg and 1.6 apg. He also played 28 games in the VTB United League where he posted averages of 6.3 ppg and 1.8 apg. He also played 25 Czech NBL games and averaged 8.0 ppg and 2.8 apg.
