Derek Needham signed by Rytas

Derek Needham (180 cm, Fairfield’13) has agreed to terms with BC Rytas Vilnius (Lithunia-LKL) and will close out 2018-19 with the Lithuanian club. Needham is an American international player who also holds a Montenegrin passport. He’s been a member of the Montenegrin National Team since 2016.

He began the season donning the colors of AS Monaco Basket (France-Pro) and played 15 games for them in the 7Days EuroCup, averaging 8.5 ppg and 3.9 apg. Needham also appeared in 20 games in the French League, where he posted averages of 8.4 ppg and 4.2 apg.
