Deontae Hawkins signs with Aalst

Deontae Hawkins (203 cm, F) is on the move to Belgium. There he will join Okapi Aalst and coach Yves Defraigne. Aalst will play in the newly formed BNXT League.

Hawkins played in the Italian Serie A2 last season. He averaged 14.2 ppg and 6.7 rebounds for Biella. Hawkins, 28 years old, played professionally in Libya before playing in Italy.

Deontae Hawkins played college basketball at Illinois State and Boston College. His senior year, he averaged 12.4 ppg and 9.1 rebounds at BC.
