Denzel Jackson cut by Island Storm

The Island Storm (Canada-NBL) has opted to cut American Denzel Jackson (198 cm, American International College’11) this 2015. The team has decided to go in a different direction. This would have been the 27-year-old Jackson’s first stint in the Canadian league. His 2014-15 season was spent with the New Jersey Thunder (USA-APBL). The New Jersey Thunder won the APBL Championship in 2015. In 2015 he played four games for the Philadelphia Flight (USA-PBL) and averaged 15.5 ppg and 8.5 rpg. He also spent some time with the Harrisburg Horizon (USA-EBA) that year. As a free agent Jackson could head back to United States in search of a deal with a local team
