BK Jelgava (Latvia-LKL) has landed young Lithuanian forward Denis Krestinin (200 cm) and he will get a chance to improve his skills with his new team this 2014-15. The 20-year-old prospect was a recent member of Lithuania’s U20 national team which competed in Crete this 2014. In 2013-14 he played for PGE Turow from Poland’s TBL. Denis was able to play in 13 VTB United league games and averaged 1.4 ppg and 2.2 rpg. He logged 1.0 ppg and 1.2 rpg in 28 games in the domestic Polish TBL, helping the team bag the Polish league championship in 2014 as well reach the finals in the Polish Cup in 2014.
