Denis Clemente leaves Reyer Venezia

In a recent announcement on the official website of  Umana Reyer Venezia from Italy (Serie A) Denis Clemente (183 cm, Kansas State’10) has been released.

The official statement goes on to say:

“The company Umana Reyer announces that it has terminated the contract by mutual consent with the athlete Denis Clemente. The company thanks the athlete for the professionalism and wish him the best of luck for the rest of his career.”

The American Clemente, who has roots in Puerto Rico, is leaving his third Italian team this 2012-13 season. He was initially with Nuovo Napoli Basket (Lega 2) and played three games for them with averages of 15.3 ppg and 5.3 apg. The team went bankrupt in October 2012 and he moved to Victoria Libertas Pesaro (Serie A) in November of the same year. He played eight games for Pesaro and averaged 19.8 ppg and 0.6 apg.
