Deng Deng signs with Tadamon Zouk

Deng DengDeng Deng (203 cm, Baylor ’15) has inked a deal to play with Tadamon Zouk (Lebanon-Pepsi LBL). Deng previously played with Al Shamal Doha (Qatar-D1) in five games earlier this season. There he averaged 19.8 ppg with 12.2 rpg as well as 4.0 bpg in 37.2 mpg. His ability to score, rebound and defend in the paint was on display with his Qatar team. The young big man will look to continue his strong start in his first year playing in Europe for Tadamon. This is Deng’s second year playing professionally as he played with the Texas Legends (D-league) last season.

Deng graduated from Baylor after playing one season with the Bears. In 23 games, he only played 8.8 mpg while scoring 2.9 ppg. He transferred to Baylor after two seasons at Lee Junior College.
