Demetris Nichols moves to Arecibo

American forward Demetris Nichols (205 cm, Syracuse’07) has followed compatriot Justin Dentmon by signing for Capitanes de Arecibo (Puerto Rico, BSN) today. Nichols has been playing with Sioux Falls Skyforce in the D-League (USA) this season and has featured 49 times for the team. Over that near half century of games the American has secured averages of 18.7ppg, 4.0rpg, and 2.3apg.

Demetris Nichols has plenty of experience in the National Basketball Association (NBA) after being on the roster and getting games at the New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls, Portland Trailblazers, and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Nichols is heading to Capitanes de Arecibo as a replacement for the outgoing Justin Keenan.
