Delroy James heads to Enel Brindisi

Delroy James

American-Guyanese player Delroy James (203 cm, Rhode Island’11) is a new addition to Enel Brindisi’s roster for 2013-14. The 26-year-old James played for FMC Ferentino from Italy’s Lega Due in the 2012-13 season.

Delroy averaged 16.2 ppg and 6.1 rpg for FMC Ferentino in 28 games in the Italian Lega Due. He was an excellent defender, averaging 2.3 spg and 1.1 bpg. His talent and athleticism earned him the Italian Lega Due All-Star Game MVP honors in 2013.

In 2011-12 he played for Bnei Eshet Tours Hasharon from Israel’s Winner league and there he averaged 16.1 ppg and 7.7 rpg in 10 games. In January 2012 he moved to the Tulsa 66ers (D-League), where he posted averages of 8.8 ppg and 4.8 rpg in 26 games.
