Dee Brown (185 cm, Illinois’06) is leaving CSU Asesoft Ploiesti (Romania-Liga Nationala) and has agreed to join Lukoil Academic Sofia (Bulgaria-NBL). The 30-year-old guard penned with Ploiesti at the beginning of the 2014/15 season and was able to represent the team in two leagues. He played a dozen games for them in the Eurocup and averaged 12.4 ppg and 8.0 apg. Dee also logged 10 games in the domestic Romanian league and there he posted averages of 14.7 ppg and 9.1 apg. Solid numbers overall as the team’s primary playmaker.

Lukoil is adding him to bolster their backcourt in preparation for an expected deep post-season run. They are currently dominating the NBL standings with a perfect 12-0 record.
