DeAngelo Casto (203 cm, Washington State’11) is getting another crack at success playing in Japan after signing with Osaka Evessa (Japan-BJ League) this 2016. In his first game for Osaka Evessa this season, Casto scored seven points and grabbed six rebounds. The 36-year-old forward had a brief stint playing in the Japanese BJ League in 2014-15. He signed on to play for the Sendai 89ers and managed to appear in a dozen games for the team. Casto was able to produce averages of 12.3 ppg and 8.8 rpg. His run with Sendai was short lived as he parted ways with the club in November 2014. DeAngelo did not sign with another team during the season.
